British Horse Society - Horse Owners Certificate

Level 4 Course - Starting Thursday 14th January 2010

This will comprise a 10 week course covering the syllabus for the horse owners certificate level 4. There are 4 levels of knowledge specifically aimed at first time horse owners but anyone keen to improve their knowledge of horse care. Subsequent courses will cover further levels, My aim is to make each course fun and informative with a mixture of practical and theoretical sessions to include course notes and handouts. On the 10th and final week of the course candidates will be assessed in the form of a written paper to be completed under exam conditions. The papers will be set and marked by myself then forwarded to the British horse society for moderation, the pass mark is 60% and successful candidates will receive a certificate from the British horse society.

This course will commence on Thursday 14th January 2010 then every Thursday, from 7-9pm, with the last session to be held on Thursday 18th March 2010 . Spaces are limited so please apply early.

The course is to be held at OASIS RIDING CENTRE BURSLEDON and is suitable for all ages 12 upwards.

The full cost of the course is £140,
A deposit of £14 is payable upon booking and the remainder can be paid weekly. The whole course must be paid for even if weeks are missed. Payment can be made in cash or by cheque made payable to J. Coles. Your deposit should accompany a completed booking form (doc or pdf) and be returned at least 1 week prior to the commencement of the course to;
